Kate is an absolute delight to work with! She makes the whole process so much fun! I was introduced to Kate after admiring the work she had done on a friend’s kitchen/living room remodel. The first project she helped me with was an outdoor patio space and since then we have worked together on numerous projects over the past two years. It may take some time to get an initial consultation appointment with her, but after your first meeting, she will shock you with how quickly she helps you create your space. For most projects, Kate provides several design board options. After providing feedback on which choice you prefer, she then creates a 3D image of the space. This is so helpful in visualizing your new or updated space. We did much of the work ourselves, but Kate offers to get quotes from contractors she works with if you would like her to. She is very flexible and will incorporate pieces that you already have, she will send you links to purchase items, she will shop with you or she will even shop for you if you prefer (styling your space using items she purchased along with things that you already had). Kate is so efficient and she will save you so much time (and so much money in many cases). There have been so many times when I wasn’t quite sure if I had picked a good paint color or the right size couch or I just couldn’t find the finishing touches to make a room feel complete. Kate comes in and works her magic, creating a space you will love! She truly wants her clients to love their homes. I can’t wait to work with her on future projects and highly recommend her to anyone looking for help with design work!

I would highly recommend Kate for all your design needs. We ended up working with Kate for nearly 4 years after extensively planning and then ultimately delaying our project in March 2020 for a year. We did a major renovation and addition on a farmhouse originally built in 1858, not an easy undertaking! I am so glad we brought Kate in at our architect phase. She was able to redesign a few areas we were stumped on. She also brought a few things to our attention we didn’t even think about, such as hallway width, and we are so happy she did! Kate is very responsive and genuinely easy to work with. I am such a visual person and her 3D mockups were exactly what I needed to make decisions. In some cases she even provided me with a video rendering of the space, such as our pantry and a bathroom. She always had multiple finish options for me to look at and never tried to sway me towards one, all the while keeping me on track when I veered away from my overall style goal. Every vendor Kate recommended were professional and excellent craftsmen. We love our home and are grateful to Kate for helping us bring our vision to life.

Remodeling and gutting our kitchen was an extremely overwhelming task for us at the onset. It was by luck we came across Kate’s website and feel very fortunate to have connected with her. Her communication style from the start was straightforward and clear. Her response times were consistently quick. Kate’s talent and patience helped us navigate through a very complicated process. She took the ideas we had in our minds and designed something for us that was functional and beautiful. Our renovation took six months from design to installation, and she was with us every step of the way. Her turnaround time is extremely quick; we had our design options within a few days, complete with 3D renderings and often had finish options within 24 hours. “Kate is an amazing designer. We would have never even thought of the ideas she came up with. She totally transformed our entire main floor and it looks amazing!! To start out she came and talked to us about what changes we would like to see. She then sent us colored layouts as well as black and white spec sheets for each room of the ideas she thought would work. We ended up doing just about everything she suggested. Working with Kate was a painless process and she has an eye for revisions which helps those of us that don’t. Kate walked along with us the entire process. Whenever we had a question she would get right back to us whether it was about a paint color or how far to put the wainscotting up on the wall. Kate even shopped for flooring, stone for around the new fireplace, lighting and everything in between. We could not be happier with the end product and working with Kate was one of the best thing we did with this project! The fun part at the end was when she shopped and staged the home with accessories, pillows, wall hangings, etc. You can keep what you like or she will take it back but you don’t want.. Wow, does it look good with what she has chosen. Whenever anyone asks if we had help designing our new main floor I always give out Kate’s name and highly recommend her.
